DDe Modo Lactis Non Effundendi
— to prevent milk from boiling over.
Materia
- one clean wooden spoon
- the milk in question
Modus
Set the spoon across the mouth of the pan before the milk climbs the rim. Do not stir. Leave the room if you can bear to.
A metal spoon works also, but the cantrip is diminished by exactly that much.
tried thrice; milk did not boil at all, uncertain if this counts —
